If you’re looking for a cute Fall craft that will make the perfect decor or centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table, you and your kids will love making these Beaded Pipe Cleaner Indian Corn crafts.

Indian corn is a staple Harvest party or Thanksgiving symbol. This craft is not only fun for your kids but will keep them busy for a while and only requires 2 supplies to make it.

If you’re looking for more “harvest” themed crafts, snacks, activities, and a corresponding simple Bible lesson to do with your kids, be sure to check out this week’s Weekly Fun Plan: Lord of the Harvest.

Supplies:

  • Beads (yellow, white, black, brown, purple, orange, red)
  • Pipe Cleaners (orange, green, or brown)

Steps:

  • To start take 4 pipe cleaners (in either brown, green, or orange) and twist them together, securing them at the center of each pipe cleaner. You will end up with a snowflake/star shape. See the image below.

  • Next, take your craft beads and bead a mixture of yellow, white, black, brown, purple, orange, or red beads onto each strand. Leave a 1.5”-2″ gap at the end of each strand.
  • Once all 8 strands are filled with enough beads, bunch them up together and twist one of the pipe cleaner ends around the others securing the strands. Once it’s secure you’re done!
