These Pretzel Fishing Poles are only 3 ingredients, are super quick and easy to make, and would be the perfect snack for a fishing-themed birthday party, summer/day camp activity, or just a fun day at home.

This snack is just one of the handful of “fishing” themed crafts and activities I have included in my “Weekly Fun Plan: Fishers of Men” so if you haven’t already, head on over to read my full blog post on how you can teach your kids to share Jesus with everyone around them, all with a fun fishing theme.

Ingredients:

Pretzel fishing pole ingredients

Steps:

  • Peel apart a Pull’n’peel Twizzler to create as many “fishing lines” as you need.
peel apart the twizzler
  • Take out one pretzel log, one strip of a Pull’n’peel Twizzler, and one goldfish cracker for each child.
  • Gently tie the Twizzler strip to the end of the pretzel log.
  • Next, gently tie the other end of the Twizzler strip to the goldfish cracker.
  • Present the “fishing pole” with a bowl or plate of additional goldfish so your child can pretend to keep fishing and that’s it! I also gave my kids a few extra Twizzler strips to eat since the snack only requires one and there are 9 for each Twizzler.

Don’t forget, if you try this snack or any parts of my Weekly Fun Plans be sure to share a photo on Instagram and tag us @faithfilledfun or use #faithfilledfun.
