Cupcake Liner Angel Ornaments

Grab some extra cupcake liners leftover from all your Christmas baking and let’s create some adorable and easy Cupcake Liner Angel Ornaments this week!

This is a fun easy craft to do with your kids, makes a cute new ornament for your tree, or a simple homemade gift for someone else. Hopefully working on this craft together will lead to a further discussion about the birth of Jesus and the angels who announced his birth.

Supplies:

Steps:

  • To start, color 3 cupcake liners however you’d like or leave them plain.

  • On a piece of plain white paper draw a small circle (approximately 1″ diameter sized) with a simple smiling face on it. See the image below for reference.

  • Fold one of the liners in half twice creating a ¼ size wedge and the other two liners in half 3 times creating ⅛ size wedges.

  • Use a hot glue gun to glue the two smaller wedges to the larger one creating your angel’s body. Next, cut out your face and glue that on too.
  • Take a small piece of pipe cleaner create a halo shape and glue that to the back of your angel’s head.

  • Lastly take a piece of string, yarn, or ribbon and glue it to the back of your angel creating the loop you can use to hang your ornament onto your tree. Let the glue dry/cool and you’re done.
