Ready to roll into something both fun and delicious? This week’s snack recipe is Wafer Cookie Pick Up Trucks — a creative treat that kids can build and eat!
With just a few simple sweets and some imagination, your little ones can put together their own mini pick-up trucks, complete with cookie “bodies” and candy “wheels.” This craft is easy to do in a large group, like a Sunday School class, or simply as a fun activity at home with your family.
It’s the perfect snack to tie into our “Pick Up” Your Bible theme, reminding kids that just like a truck is built to carry a load, our hearts are made to carry God’s Word. This hands-on activity is easy, tasty, and guaranteed to bring smiles as kids snack on their creations.

Ingredients:
- Wafer Cookies (3 per kid)
- Frosting
- M&Ms (4 per kid)
- Candy Corn Pumpkins (1 per kid)
- Plastic knife

Steps:
- Start by placing 3 wafer cookies, 4 M&Ms, 1 candy corn pumpkin, some frosting, and a plastic knife on a plate for each child.
- Instruct the kids to cut 1 of the wafer cookies directly in half.

- Next, using the frosting, stack the 2 full cookies, then the 2 halves on top of each other The smaller pieces should be slightly off center to create the body of your “truck”.

- Finish up by using the frosting to attach your 4 M&M’s as wheels at the bottom of your “truck”. Place two on each side, and finally, a pumpkin into the bed of your truck. If you have extra frosting, you can also try to create a window shape on the side. And that’s it, your truck is complete and ready to eat!
