If you’re looking for a simple and adorable craft to do with your kids this Halloween or Fall season, you’ll love this Apple Stamping Pumpkins craft.
This craft only requires a few supplies and is a great way to make sure a bruised-up apple doesn’t go to waste. Your kids are going to love this fun new way to paint.
And if you’re looking for more “pumpkin” themed crafts, snacks, activities, and a corresponding simple Bible lesson to do with your kids, be sure to check out this week’s Weekly Fun Plan: Like a Pumpkin.
Supplies:
Steps:
- Cut your apple in half.
- Pour some orange paint onto a paper plate and dip your apple straight into the paint (flat side down) making sure the paint is getting all over the flat side of the apple. Or use a paintbrush to put the paint onto the flat side of the apple.
- Stamp the apple onto your piece of paper (you’re going to want to press fairly hard down on the apple) repeat the process until you have pumpkin shapes all over your paper, then set aside to dry.
- Once your paint is completely dry use a brown marker to draw stems on each pumpkin and a green marker to draw some curly vines.
- Next glue down 2 googly eyes for each pumpkin.
- You can either stop here or use your markers and continue to draw a nose and mouth on your pumpkins to turn them into jack-o-lanterns. And that’s it!
