If you live in a colder climate like I do then it’s probably been a few months since you grabbed your sidewalk chalk. But this week we’re taking a break from the usual paint and glue crafts for these fun Chalk Stenciled Christmas Lights!
This craft only requires a few supplies, is very easy to make, and once finished makes a cute Christmas decoration for your home.

Supplies:
- Construction Paper (black)
- My FREE Christmas Lights Cut-Out PDF
- Chalk
- Scissors
- White Crayon
- Tape (optional)
Steps:
- To start, print off my FREE Christmas Lights Cut-Out PDF and cut out a handful of Christmas lights shapes.
- Next, use a white crayon to draw a wavy line across your black construction paper (longwise) This will be your “string” for your Christmas lights.
- Place your cutout Christmas lights along the drawn line. Feel free to lightly secure it with tape if you’d like.
- Once your lights are spaced out the way you like them, use different colored sidewalk chalk and color around each light shape.
- Next, use your fingers or a tissue to smear the chalk around each light till it looks nice and blended.
- Lastly, carefully remove the light cutout pieces to reveal your stenciled Christmas light art. If you’d like, use your white crayon to write a sweet holiday message or leave it as is.
