This cute and easy Paper Veggie Garden requires only 4 simple supplies, is mess-free, and your kids will love harvesting their veggies over and over once it’s complete.
Do this craft with your kids at home or this would be a great craft for any kids’ ministry event or Sunday school lesson on The Parable of the Sower.

Supplies:
Steps:
- To start, find the following colors of construction paper.
- white or blue – for the sky
- brown – for the dirt
- green – for the stems of your veggies
- purple, orange, yellow – for the veggies
- Next, take your brown construction paper and make a wavy cut longwise across the paper. Cut off the top ⅓ of the paper.
- Place some glue along the 3 straight edges of the larger piece of brown paper. Glue that piece to the bottom of your “sky” colored paper.
- Next, repeat the same process for the smaller brown piece and glue it on top of the larger brown piece. You should now have two overlapping pockets. I used a brown marker to trace the wavy edges of the paper to make it more visible. See the image for reference.
- Now using your other colors of paper, draw some root veggie shapes and cut them out. I chose to do carrots, a beet, and an onion. See the image below for examples.
- Once you’ve finished cutting out and creating your garden veggies, slip them into the “dirt pockets” you made earlier and you’re done!
