If you’re looking for a super easy craft to do with your kids this Halloween or Fall season, look no further than these Pumpkin Stress Balls.
This craft only requires a few supplies, doubles as a sensory activity, and your kids will love their new “toy” they get to play with immediately following the completion of this craft.
And if you’re looking for more “pumpkin” themed crafts, snacks, activities, and a corresponding simple Bible lesson to do with your kids, be sure to check out this week’s Weekly Fun Plan: Like a Pumpkin.
Supplies:
- Funnel (if you don’t have a funnel you could also roll up a piece of paper to make a funnel)
- Orange Balloons (you can also find these at the dollar store)
- Rice
- Sharpie
Steps:
- Stretch the mouth of your balloon over the bottom of the funnel.
- Scoop your dry rice into the funnel. You may have to stretch the balloon, move it around, or manipulate it to get the rice to funnel in.
- Fill your balloon with as much rice as will fit and tie it closed.
- Use a Sharpie marker to draw a face on your pumpkin. Let the marker dry for a few minutes and voila you have a brand-new pumpkin stress ball.
