If you’re looking for a simple and hands-on truck-themed activity to do with your kids this week, you’ll love this Tire Track Bible Bookmark Craft.
This activity only requires a few basic supplies and can be completed quickly, making it perfect for home, Sunday School, or a kids’ ministry setting.
Kids can either print and color the free printable bookmarks for a simple coloring activity, or get creative by using paint and toy cars to make fun tire tracks across them!
Each coloring sheet comes with 3 different bookmark designs, all revolving around this week’s theme of “Pick Up” Your Bible. Some of the Bible verses highlighted on the bookmarks include:
“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” – Psalms 119:11
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,” – 2 Timothy 3:16

Supplies:
- Scissors
- Paint
- Toy Cars/Trucks
- Pick Up Your Bible Bookmarks PDF
- Contact Paper (optional)

Steps:
- Start by printing off my free Pick Up Your Bible Bookmarks PDF. One for each child.
- Pick a few different colors of paint and pour some onto a paper plate.

- Next, I recommend placing each sheet of paper on top of a placemat or paper towel so you don’t get paint all over your table.
- Using the various colors of washable paint and a variety of toy cars & trucks, roll your vehicles through the paint and over your bookmark coloring sheet. This should create some fun tire tracks.

- Continue this process with the different colors and rolling the cars in different directions until your bookmarks are looking how you want. Then, set them aside to dry.

- Once your paint is completely dry, use scissors to cut out the different bookmarks.
- Lastly, if you wish to take it a step further, run your bookmarks through a laminator. If you do not have one, you can fold your bookmarks into some clear contact paper. Then simply cut off the excess contact paper around your bookmarks, and you’re done.
